Victory not the end of fundraising for Roberts
It’s too soon for Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., to need money to run for a fifth term. Yet he had another fundraiser last week, according to the Center for Public Integrity. The “debt retirement reception,” with suggested contributions of $500 to $5,000 to be made out to “Roberts for Senate,” was booked at the address of a lobbying firm that has worked this year for the Altria Group tobacco company, Google and DirectTV. – Rhonda Holman
