Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 21)

As a woman, I get so fed up with these women who accuse men of sexual assault decades after the fact. Now it’s Bill Cosby whose reputation and ultimately his livelihood will be affected by unsubstantiated accusations. Present and prove your case when it happens or not at all.

“Cosby Show” reruns are pulled from being aired and plans for a new Cosby show are scrapped over nothing more than unsubstantiated allegations, and yet Obama commits crimes in full view of everyone and nothing is done to him.

America needs a declaration of independence from King Barack I.

Republicans need to remember what their hero Ronald Reagan said: “I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally.”

The Democrat Party should change its name to the Authoritarian Party. When the democratically held gay-marriage votes get overturned by judges, they celebrate that democracy didn’t work.

Regarding “15 same-sex couples marry in legal ceremony” (Nov. 18 Local & State): The gentleman who shouted “God said no” is correct. Those who shouted “God said yes” can shout all they want, but they are wrong. Maybe they should look to see what the Bible actually says.

Do Kansans line up with with everything the Bible says? That’s what I thought. Let go of the stones.

How about the state and feds stay out of personal religion and business and let God do the judging? No matter what your personal opinion is, His is the final word. Judge not lest ye be judged.

You can legislate gay marriage until the cows come home, but it is wrong and God has said it is wrong. It is so obviously wrong, how can you not see it? Satan has tempted you and you gave in.

Do Republicans breathe the same air as the rest of us? Almost every clean-air incentive, whether for cleaner-burning autos or power plants, is blocked by the Republicans. Whatever happened to “ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”?

At least the University of Kentucky didn’t embarrass the intelligent half of the state.

Food trucks seem to get a lot of publicity. But I bet 100 times more people buy food from restaurants that have drive-through service than from food trucks. I wish once in a while The Eagle would do reviews specifically of restaurants that have drive-through service.

To be politically and zoologically correct, shouldn’t Rudolph be known as the red-nosed caribou?
