I’m appalled that 32 million people still don’t have health insurance, despite Obamacare’s high out-of-pocket costs and deductibles.

Insurance companies in 2016 for Medicare Part D will roll back coverage of prescription drugs and pay less reimbursement for cost. Drug companies are increasing prices. The program was designed to benefit drug and insurance companies, not seniors.

Yes, expanding Medicaid is a moral question. It is also well-established in international law that nation-states have an obligation to provide, if able, access for all citizens to medical care. Kansas under Gov. Sam Brownback is able but not willing.

Unlike the low-information voters, I won’t be tired of hearing about Hillary Clinton’s e-mails until all of the truth comes out.

If Hillary Clinton were a Republican, the GOP would be indignant that she’d been accused of improper conduct in connection to Benghazi, and would claim it preposterous that by using a private e-mail server a national security breach was possible.

Don’t like it? Just redefine it. Lawyers today rule every aspect of our lives, and can muddy and confuse anything and everything: Bowe Bergdahl is just confused and disillusioned. Planned Parenthood is a women’s health provider. Hillary Clinton is just trying hard to do what’s right for America.

Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist.”

Earlier this month The Wichita Eagle reported that Julie Andrews was 80 years old. No way. I just watched her in “Mary Poppins,” and now way is she near 80 years old. I told you people – you can’t trust the liberal press.

No question that Bill Snyder resurrected K-State football from the dead, but his record against top 25 teams is among the worst of all current coaches.

I can’t speak for all men, but I find women with a good body and wrinkles more attractive than fat women with no wrinkles. So, ladies, please don’t rationalize being fat to reduce wrinkles.

So, you think columnist Leonard Pitts only recently tried his hand at writing fiction? I’ve got news for you: There hasn’t been a nickel’s worth of truth come out of his keyboard for as long as I’ve known of him.
