How about we just hand the keys to this country to immigrants from Mexico and we all move down there? Much warmer climate and cheaper to live. I’ll bet the border gets closed then.

The approval of the Keystone oil sand pipeline by the Republican House shows that they still have their heads in the sand about climate issues.

If another world war erupts, where will we build our war supplies when we have shipped our manufacturing to China and Mexico?

If the president could find a way to cut the price of video games in half, make smartphone use free, and provide complete public access to all reality programming, he would have the highest ratings of any president in history.

Go Wichita’s efforts to discover our city brand has been wasteful, unstrategic and redundant. Past research conducted by various groups including Visioneering Wichita have all delivered the same insights. It might have been worth using the previous research instead of spending $65,000 with a questionable firm.

I hear Wichita is looking for a brand name. I’m from the Haysville area. That makes me an outside consultant. I’m free of charge, too. I’m just not sure Wichita can live up to the name. My entry is: Hatteberg’s People.

To all the whiners who cried because they had to slow down when it snowed: I hope your cars are the first to rust from all the salt being used every time a flake is forecast.

Commercials featuring small children should be banned. They are annoying.

I think basketball players and coaches should look at the flag during the national anthem. They may be praying while looking down, but you can also pray while looking at the flag. We all need to look at the flag during the national anthem.

At least TCU didn’t embarrass the civilized half of the state.

If Sheahon Zenger doesn’t hire Clint Bowen for the full-time football coaching job at KU, then maybe Zenger needs to head on down the road.
