The weather forecasters didn’t do much better than the election pollsters.
The only cause for concern over the earthquake for the average Kansas teenager is that they couldn’t post a picture of it on Instagram.
Hurry – Oklahoma’s opening an earthquake park. If Kansas hurries, we can beat them to it.
So now our state politicians, many of whom don’t even have a college degree, have become expert geologists and are telling us that fracking is not the cause of the earthquakes taking place in the only part of the state where fracking is occurring. Yeah, I’ll blindly accept that.
Some Republican somewhere will say: “That Greg Orman bought that earthquake, and had it set off in Kansas just because he is a poor loser.”
To those who elected Sen. Pat Roberts to help the Kansas agriculture activity: You forgot that he attended less than 40 percent of the scheduled meetings of the committees he was a member of. How is that going to benefit Kansas?
Regarding the poll worker distressed by people taking the Kansans for Life list with them to vote: As a registered independent, I took the list so I could vote opposite of Kansas for Life’s recommendations.
A sincere congratulations and “job well done” to the Republican Party for its recent victories, and may I offer my sincerest condolences and best wishes on taking control of a sinking ship.
Jonathan Gruber, MIT professor and a key architect of Obamacare, said the law got passed because of the stupidity of the American voter. The recent election proved he is not as smart as he thinks he is.
The modern Democratic Party shows how a political party can succeed with lies and the “stupidity of the American people.”
Did I miss something? I don’t remember the American people having a vote on Obamacare.
How long will it be until The Wichita Eagle endorses Jonathan Gruber to head up the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services?
Nancy Pelosi gets caught in a lie and places the blame directly on her buddies in the media for her lack of leadership skills. Right out of the Democratic playbook – misdirect and deny, deny, deny.
Who’s on first? Immigration. Next up to bat is Obama. Why is the bull pen getting so busy? I don’t know. Will this go into extra innings? Who knows? I thought Who was on first. Naturally.
When you lose your job or cannot find one because of an army of border-crossing criminals in this country who have no legal or moral right to be here, you will have only Obama and the party of destruction, the Democrats, to thank.
Democrats, finding themselves in a large hole, should quit digging.
