Opinion Line Extra (Oct. 16)

I think the WSU chapel should not be “reserved” daily for any period. A special occasion is one thing, but reserving it every day means for that time, it is not open to “all faiths.”

The Christians hadn’t expressed concerns about the WSU chapel including Muslims because we didn’t know it was being changed until the Fox News broadcast. I can’t think that was the original intent of all faiths.

Now the truth is out. After all the hate from these phony Christians, we find out the terrible Muslims didn’t ask for changes. The pastor and Christians did. I am sick of these people always complaining of a war on Christians. Phony war, phony Christians.

I just had to laugh at WSU telling us it was Christians who wanted the pews removed in the chapel.

The uncharitable attitudes toward renovations of WSU’s Grace Chapel, which was intended for all creeds and faiths, evinces the depths of depravity to which some “Christians” have sunk. Jesus weeps still.

The spiritual effect is not the same when you stick a wad of gum under a movable chair instead of an uncomfortable fixed pew.

If it weren’t for the difference in religions, the world would be a much more peaceful place. The problem with religions is that they are all right and they are all wrong.

How many years has the U.S. Postal Service been threatening to discontinue Saturday delivery? Now they are out delivering on Sunday for a few “preferred” customers? How much of my tax money is spent on their support?

Has anyone else noticed that Hillary Clinton’s smile looks just like the Grinch who stole Christmas?

It is clear that Clinton and her State Department failed to protect the facilities in Benghazi before or during the attacks. They soon knew that the video did not cause the attack. They were not truthful about this even as the bodies came off the plane and they met the families.

I would suggest that Republicans hold the Benghazi hearings on Halloween in Salem, since it is now obvious that they are using the tragic deaths in Benghazi solely as an excuse to conduct a witch hunt aimed at preventing Hillary Clinton from becoming president.

Watching Fox News reacting to the Democratic debate proves once again that they are just a propaganda mouthpiece for the GOP rather than a bona fide news organization.

If the Democratic candidates were expecting softballs from Anderson Cooper in their debate, they got a surprise. Cooper was pitching hardballs.

Remember when you used to look forward to a certain day of the week because a certain show was on? What is on now is garbage and nothing more than glorification of individual talents. Humility is nonexistent.
