It is great to see many cities and states voting to eliminate the Columbus Day holiday. Why should we celebrate the arrival of the beginning of the end for the indigenous population?
The Republicans have started two hugely expensive, unnecessary wars and crashed the U.S. economy (and plan on crashing it again), but all they can talk about is Hillary Clinton’s e-mails?
I’m tired of Barack Obama. And if you think about it honestly, so are you. I’m tired of his voice. I’m tired of his divisiveness. I’m tired of the blame game. I’m tired of his silly, foolish “red lines” and his self-promotion, which comes off as pure narcissism.

A safe zone is really a kill zone for criminals.

Insurance is paying less and consumers more. So it’s not just people living on Social Security paying more on health care. I’m raising a family and have to work two jobs, as does my wife. Seniors: At least you’ve raised your children.
The Obama administration has banned pork from the federal prison system. I don’t think that is what voters had in mind when they wanted the pork cut.
Charles Koch’s interview on “CBS News Sunday Morning” made Fox News seem believable.
Do the people of Kansas really want Koch Industries to go away? I think not. The progressives just need a whipping boy, and this company that keeps on giving just keeps on taking this abuse with a smile. Thanks so much for the many opportunities Koch Industries provides.
What is the problem with Volkswagen cheating on emissions? All the emissions equipment does is pump a higher ration of air into the exhaust to make it seem cleaner. So who cares if VW isn’t going along with the EPA? The EPA needs to be canned.
To whoever picked up my restaurant tab last week. I appreciate the kind gesture, but if I couldn’t afford it I wouldn’t have been there in the first place. So in the future, please offer your kindness to those who need it. I will pay it forward to the Salvation Army.
Too bad WSU doesn’t have a football program. We could enjoy a Sunday morning Eagle with losers all around.
