Definition of insanity in Kansas: Re-elect every single incumbent on the ballot and expect things to change.

The only thing I like about the election is that it is over. Watch to see if the Republicans can govern as well as bloviate.

With the shortfall in state revenue, Gov. Sam Brownback and the Legislature are going to have to further cut spending. I would suggest they start by paying themselves exactly what they are worth – nothing.

Now I know why Kansas is called such a red state. It’s from all the red ink it is bleeding from the Brownback tax policies.

To everyone who voted Republican last Tuesday: Remember the goal of the Republican Party is and always has been the destruction of the middle class.

Let’s see – millions in tax revenue lost, voter suppression continues, and one elected official doesn’t live in the state. Great job, Kansas electorate.

After recovering a bit from the pain of seeing the election results, I recalled the book of a few years ago, “What’s the Matter With Kansas?” Apparently it’s still status quo in this state.

Take a look at Opinion Line now that the shoe is on the other foot. It’s a real hoot. The lefties are out of control.

President Obama said he heard the voters over his latest election shellacking. It didn’t mean he thought they were right. He really meant how stupid he thinks they are. They just don’t get or deserve his brilliance.

The thing to remember about Obama statements is that they all come with an expiration date. Some longer, some in mere seconds.

Why didn’t Obama just sign an executive order instead of sending a “secret letter” to Iran’s leaders? That seems to be his solution to all of his perceived problems.

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell say a majority of Americans have spoken on health care and the minimum wage. A majority did not vote on Nov. 4. You can say “majority” when all get to vote, including those who had votes stolen from them.

The VA is a shamefully inept example of government-run health care. How ironic that the former CEO of Procter & Gamble, a big, bad, greedy corporation, has been called upon to straighten things out.

The U.N. informed us that the sky is falling due to global warming on the same day New England got a rare fall snowstorm of 2 feet. Now that’s an inconvenient truth.

Where the “yes” and “no” groups held their election parties certainly pointed out who knows how to spend other people’s money. The “no” group was at the Pumphouse, a filling station converted to a bar, and the “yes” group was at the Hyatt Regency. Elitism, anyone?
