With a $279 million spending cut staring Kansans in the face, a question to all Brownback supporters: How do you like him now?

Senate President Susan Wagle said Kansas “families and taxpayers” would be the “top priority” when lawmakers work on this $279 million budget cut. Since when have Kansas families ever been a top priority with Gov. Sam Brownback or these legislators?

The new flimflam man claiming he will make it rain lives in Topeka.

It’s a good thing that people of character voted for the interests of the country and not “their own self-interests,” if that’s what they did, as that’s how freeloading moochers vote.

Why did Republicans have to call in every idle, goofy, unemployed, misinformed and formerly famous Republican – such as Jeb Bush, Rick Perry and Sarah Palin – to campaign for Pat Roberts and Sam Brownback? I remember when Republicans didn’t even have to break a sweat in Kansas.

The one-issue voter who regretted voting for Roberts over Greg Orman because of the abortion issue is typical of those who don’t measure the little effect a single senator will have on an issue that will go to the Supreme Court.

You said you voted for Roberts only because Orman was pro-choice? Then said it was sad that Roberts won? Listen to yourself. You are part of the problem.

When thinking about the recent election results, I get depressed. But I cheer myself up with the realization that I voted exactly the opposite of the members of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Obama’s threat to sign another of his world-famous executive orders – this time for “immigration reform,” which is Democrat-speak for creating voters – certainly goes against his week-old claim that he will work with Congress.

Obama reminds me of Scotty Smalls. A little heart, and not enough skills.

Republicans aren’t any worse “sore winners” than Democrats. Remember President “We Won, Now Shut Up and Get Out of the Way”?

To The Wichita Eagle: The sales tax was defeated, so get over it.

I happened to be in Washington, D.C., on Election Day and got a chuckle when the local TV stations reminded voters to bring a photo ID to vote. I guess it’s acceptable for D.C. but not for Kansas.

Now even the U.S. meth supply has been outsourced to Mexico. Dang liberals. When will they stop ruining my America?

As usual, Leonard Pitts’ column on Nov.10 was way off base. I know women who spend two hours in front of a mirror making themselves as attractive as they can possibly be. Don’t tell me that flirty comments and “catcalls” are unwanted. What does he think “attractive” means?
