Opinion Line Extra (Sept. 29)

Businesses should not complain about intellectual property theft if they joined the “globalization” rush during the last Clinton reign.

Deny. Deceive. Ignore. If those three words comprise part of your ethical standards, then you will vote for Hillary Clinton and you voted for Barack Obama.

President Obama said that he is willing to work with Vladimir Putin to achieve a managed solution to the war in Syria. If he needs to get ahold of Putin he can contact him at the Damascus Hilton. One talks while the other acts.

How many scandals has Hillary Clinton been involved in? I have lost count.

There is no double standard regarding Ted Cruz’s and Obama’s citizenship status. It is known exactly where Cruz was born and when, nor has he beaten around the bush on it. Furthermore, his academic record is open for all see. He hides nothing.

To the person who doesn’t “get” the big deal about the pope: Shouldn’t you be at a Donald Trump rally somewhere? I’m not Catholic or even particularly religious, but if you don’t see anything special about this man, you’re not looking very hard.

Speaker John Boehner: Thank you for inviting Pope Francis to speak to the American Congress and people. It maybe the best thing you have ever done in your career.

The pope got through to John Boehner. He started crying when he realized that being a Republican is just wrong. Divine intervention at its best.

Boehner, during his resignation speech, took credit for a lot of questionable things. As for taking responsibility for the federal debt, he left that for President Obama.

Democrats were happy to embrace church with state via the pope’s visit, since it suited their purposes. We should remind them when their atheists again threaten a Chanute middle school over a wall picture of Christ.

Why is it that Americans and the media have such a slobbering love affair for the pope? He is simply a man who is no more “holy” than us and no more has the ear of God than we do (1 Timothy 2:5). To fawn after him is nothing more than idol worship.

I see the adulation of the pope and say too many Americans are still superstitious.

The trouble with hockey is there are no cheerleaders and no sidelines where they could strut their stuff.
