Jenkins is first in House to endorse Fiorina

Carly Fiorina has soared to second place in a CNN poll since last week’s second GOP presidential debate. She also won her first endorsement from a sitting member of Congress – Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R-Topeka. Vice chairwoman of the House Republican Conference and therefore the fifth-highest ranking Republican in the House, Jenkins called the former Hewlett-Packard CEO a “strong, steady, no-nonsense businesswoman” and also said in a statement Sunday: “When I think of the critical challenges our nation faces, whether it’s job creation domestically or thuggish dictators and terror networks internationally, I can think of no one better to face them down than Carly Fiorina.” – Rhonda Holman
