The reason baseball players are constantly chewing and spitting is because there is a law that says they have to. It is the same law that says their managers have to look bored out of their minds.
How much of our school budget is wasted on overpaid, underworked administrators instead of going into the classrooms where it’s needed?
It seems to me that we need more black police officers. Let’s hope more apply for the job.
I’ve written a short prayer for the midterm election. It goes like this: “Dear Lord, please make this be over. Amen.”
Wait – maybe we shouldn’t have the Republicans in charge of both houses of Congress. The president will just go play golf all of the time. Ah, never mind. I forgot – he already does. Maybe they could actually vote on something in the Senate then.
If we had a Republican president and Senate, who would there be for Rush Limbaugh to rage against? It would be bad for his ratings.
The Republicans don’t want to raise the minimum wage because they don’t like to pay the working people. They only want to cut taxes for the wealthy and big business.
“Low-information voter” isn’t necessarily a pejorative. This term applies to millions of ill-informed voters from all political parties, thanks to wildly liberal public schools, mostly Soviet-style media, or individual apathy and laziness.
I guess I’m showing my age, but the Republicans running for office all remind me of Richard Nixon. I do not trust them.
It seems like when a Republican candidate mentions Obama or Reid in a campaign ad, it hits a sensitive nerve with the Democrats. What’s their problem? I would think they would welcome it.
Considering absentee ballots and early voting, maybe we can institute a do-not-call list for politicians and their PACs called the “Leave Me Alone I Have Already Voted List.”
After seeing you driving a vehicle while wearing a Halloween mask, curiosity forces me to ask: Were you born that stupid, or have you worked your whole life developing that level of idiocy?
Kudos to the plea to fix the Armour/Rock Road exchanges. They are dangerous. They can’t handle number of vehicles today, let alone in the future. I hope the same engineers aren’t designing the Webb and Greenwich interchanges.
Obviously, Kaci Hickox cares about Africans but not her Maine neighbors. How sad.
We have nothing to fear about Ebola except irrational paranoia – and political accusations.
With the more acceptable use of marijuana for medicinal therapy, I guess some of the “drug abuse counselors” might have to drum up more work.
I saw an article on what pets see. There is no doubt my dog sees me as one big Milk-Bone. A Milk-Bone that takes him for rides.
