Whatever happened to “truth in advertising” laws? If they are still on the books, why don’t they apply to election commercials and fliers? Whose job is it to enforce them?

There is no right to marry. You can’t yet marry your brother, aunt, multiple people or animals. Likewise, there was no right to marry a person of the same sex until unelected judges overturned the will of the people.

Because of their stupid vote on the Carr brothers, Lee Johnson and Eric Rosen are going to lose their cushy jobs on the Kansas Supreme Court.

My respect for The Wichita Eagle has certainly diminished because it illogically chose to endorse Greg Orman and the City Council’s huge tax increase, both of which would ultimately be harmful to this city.

If Republicans vote for Paul Davis, it’s like voting for another unknown quantity. The last unknown quantity was Obama, and look what we ended up with.

As a senior on Medicare, I will be voting against anyone who supports a state takeover of this program and urge all seniors to join me. We must protect ourselves from the state’s effort to seize our health care coverage.

Sending sports reporters from all three local stations to Kansas City, let alone San Francisco, to give insipid brief reports is mind-boggling. Do they accomplish anything worthwhile? Absolutely not.
