Remember your willingness to grant 15 million illegal immigrants a job permit when your child or grandchild is looking for a job and can’t find one.
When the Republicans win both the Senate and House here soon, they just need to go ahead and have Obama impeached for the clean sweep, because that dude will become the lamest of ducks in U.S. presidential history.
I can only call a Republican who runs to the Democrats to do a negative ad against their own party a huge traitor. And please don’t come back to the party after you have voter’s remorse.
When he pushed through his tax cut scheme almost three years ago, our governor said it would have immediate positive results. After credit downgrades, and with a multimillion-dollar budget hole projected, he says his plan needs more time to work. Sorry, governor. Time’s up. I’m voting for Paul Davis.
KanCare is a disaster, and a prelude to what’s to come for Medicare if Brownback gets his way. I have always been a registered Republican, but because of Brownback and his cronies, I have changed to independent. Sam Brownback is a dangerous man.
I didn’t take long to fill out my mail-in ballot after the final debate. Pat Roberts has turned into a schmuck after 40-plus years in Washington, D.C. And why is he “fighting” for Kansans? We vote for folks to represent us and solve problems to meet Kansans’ needs.
Judging by the campaign efforts of Brownback and Roberts, their primary argument for re-election is that they hate the president and somehow that means we should hate their opponents. It’s going to take a much better argument than that to convince this longtime Republican that they deserve re-election.
Paul Davis and Jean Schodorf would not be good representatives of Kansas. We are still trying to live down Kathleen Sebelius.
I know who I plan to vote for, and it certainly will not be the people that The Eagle editorial board endorsed.
Thanks to The Wichita Eagle for posting which candidates it endorses. Now I know who not to vote for. You made it nice and easy for me.
Thanks to Kansans for Life, I now have a list of candidates for whom I won’t vote.
The first question that should be asked of any politician is: Where do you get your information about climate – second- or thirdhand, or from a climate scientist?
Why did the city of Wichita mail to my house in Bel Aire one of those brochures about the proposed 1 cent sales tax? I cannot vote in a city of Wichita election. I guess Wichita has more money than sense. If you can vote in Wichita, please vote “no” to this proposal.
