No thanks are due to President Obama until gas prices reach what they were when he took office, $1.89 per gallon.

Being elected a leader does not mean you will become one or are one, as a certain community organizer has proven.

Ebola made it through our porous borders. What makes anyone think the feds can stop American-bred ISIS fighters from returning to this country?

If Iraqis are too cowardly to fight for themselves, we shouldn’t sacrifice our own young men and women for them.

If tea partiers were really small-government, low-tax conservatives, they would vote Libertarian. Since they do not, they are really just anti-Democrat.

Most Kansans are good, salt-of-the-earth, middle-class people. It bothers me when they are duped to vote against their own best interests by Republican politicians using guns, fetuses, gays and illegals to get votes and who then lavish benefits on the wealthy.

Most Kansans are good, salt-of-the-earth people. Their benevolent attitude has allowed them to be duped by Pat Roberts since 1981. Let’s give Roberts some advice via the voting machine: Retire gracefully in your beloved state of Virginia. Sometimes we just don’t know when to quit.

Gov. Sam Brownback shows how dirty and underhanded he really is in the ad on the judges. He is running scared, and I will definitely not vote for him now.

I just saw the Brownback ad regarding the Carr brothers. That is the most classless ad I ever seen. He should be ashamed because he approved it.

Have you noticed that Democrats whine that Republicans are just running negative ads, but that’s all they’re doing against Roberts and Brownback? Don’t fall for the hypocritical Democrat party tricks.

Personal endorsements of candidates are worthless. Years of friendship and a belief in the goodness of a candidate as a person do not automatically translate to a good political representative. Someone can be the best kind of person in the world, yet the worst kind of politician.

It seems to me that Roberts and Brownback are annoyed that they have to work so hard to keep their positions. Entitled maybe? Time to go.

In their final televised debate, I got the impression that Sen. Pat Roberts wished he were Greg Orman.

“I’m not voting for Pat Roberts because he was rude!” This sounds so childish. We have serious issues to consider when voting – border security, amnesty, health care, taxes, irresponsible spending and protection of our constitutional rights. Think when voting.

When the sales tax issue fails in next month’s balloting, perhaps the city will show some sense and put the water, transit, and street portions on April’s ballot. All three will pass by large majorities, and without threats about the consequences of negative outcomes.
