Opinion Line (Oct. 25)

Instead of spending millions on dumb political ads, please just send me a check and tell me how to vote.

We need a feature for our TVs that allows us to screen out political ads after we have voted.

After the election, we will still have to mute the two clowns on the Sonic commercials.

I saw an ad by the “no” sales tax folks using scare tactics on our senior citizens. Talk about fearmongering. Keep it classy, AFP, Koch and Coalition for a “Bitter” Wichita. My vote is “yes.”

Keep raising taxes on the middle class until they are all in poverty.

I would like to thank whoever cleaned my yard of those unsightly Paul Davis and Jean Schodorf signs along Woodlawn, but they didn’t stick around for their reward.

It’s fall again and the lazy guy down the block is power-blowing his leaves into the street, expecting his neighbors to clean up his mess. Given his Obama bumper sticker and Davis, Orman, Schodorf and “yes” yard signs, I’m not surprised.

Our service personnel would thank Kris Kobach for defending our right to vote, and safeguarding it for proven citizens. They gave their lives, and God gave us the good sense to make good decisions.

I watched with disgust as Sam Brownback tried to link Paul Davis to the Carr brothers decision. We’re all angry about those two murderers getting another day in court, but Brownback’s attempt to “Willie Horton” Davis is another reason to show the governor the door.

I thought the strip club ad was the lowest of the low. Count on Brownback to find an even more desperate advertising campaign with the Carr brothers. Brownback reeks of desperation. Voters, please make Kansas the kind place I know it is and vote Davis.

Seniors, if you don’t care what happens to your Medicare, vote Brownback.

If you made a mistake voting for Obama because you didn’t know enough about him, you’re in the same place with Greg Orman. He refuses to tell us the facts that we need to know to make an informed choice. Don’t vote for the unknown.

Greg Orman needs a voice transplant.

Making an issue of the Roberts campaign’s use of a stock photo of sunflowers from Ukraine is borderline juvenile. So what? Get a life. I used stock photos for years in my former publishing business.

Pat Roberts has not worked off the government dole since 1967. Now he wants six more years of the gravy train. Well, it needs to stop right now.
