Opinion Line Extra (Sept. 1)
As shown by the death of the “dust lady,” the terrorists of Sept. 11 are still causing death and harm. But what they have done is infinitesimal compared with the death and harm that will result from Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran.
I read Rep. Mike Pompeo’s newsletter on the Iran nuclear agreement and also Sen. Martin Heinrich’s supporting view. I would recommend Pompeo consult with him rather Sen. Tom Cotton. We don’t need warmongers in Congress. It doesn’t seem that they learned anything from 10 years in the Middle East.
However many billions we’re about to give, stupidly, to a country that hates us should be divided up and given to all legal American taxpayers. I promise not to build an A-bomb with my share.
As we recollect the damage done in New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina, don’t forget that it was another man-made by government disaster. The levees were not designed properly by the feds, or local corruption undercut their construction.
Hillary Clinton with a John Deere tractor in the background? Please. Does she even know what it is, and what it’s used for? It stands for honesty and hard work. She stands for BS and spin. Oh, yeah – just so you know, I am a woman.
Donald Trump may be the man with the courage and daring to challenge Islamic extremists, foreign countries taking advantage of us, and our own American political and biased news establishments, and to do whatever is necessary to turn them all upside down and save America in her struggle for life. You be the judge.
The Lord works in mysterious ways. The promise of a Trump-Palin ticket has brought fervent prayers from the Democrats. Church attendance is up. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Since Obama and Al Sharpton contributed to the anti-police movement, they should take some action to halt the movement.
The old saying that “it takes one to know one” doesn’t apply to fools. Fools have no idea they are fools and can’t recognize it in others. Case in point: Kansas voters.
Has even one of the congressmen voting to defund Planned Parenthood visited the facilities or discussed their services with one of the millions of women who have received excellent medical care (by the way, at their request) at Planned Parenthood?
Whatever your thoughts are about abortion, the truth is that when we diminish the value of life in the womb, we diminish the value of life.
If someone were to ask me if rich people were being taken advantage of, I’d have to say “no.”
Basketball season is coming up. Will the NCAA match KU and WSU again? Or at least in the same bracket? I wouldn’t bet against it. KU can run but they can’t hide.
