Have no fear, Kansas. If Guantanamo detainees are sent here, eventually their detention will be ruled cruel and unusual punishment by our own Supreme Court and they will be sent back.

If Obama wants his friends at Guantanamo moved, they should go to Washington, D.C., so he won’t have to put so many miles on his two new Air Force Ones. If he had any sense he would not bring them to America. Notice he picked a Republican state.

Cyberattacks have hit the federal government at all levels, including the White House and the Department of Defense, and so was using a private server by Hillary Clinton or anyone else in the government any more risky than using a government server?

A reader questioned if there was any public reason the lights downtown could not be synchronized to allow a flow of traffic to save on fuel and omissions. There sure as heck is. Stay off your cellphones at every stoplight you come to and maybe you would not hold up cars behind you.

Really? The WSU Foundation’s endowment is $280 million, and WSU cannot provide adequate campus parking, keep open the Lake Afton Observatory or keep fees from increasing for engineering students? Why do they think student population has dropped?
