Opinion Line (Aug. 25)
Ten years after Katrina, how many people still have their hands extended, palms up, and pointed at the taxpayers and charities?
Why are people so anti-government and when it comes to handouts they are first in line?
We were taxed when we made our money. So why in the world are we taxed every time we spend it? Shouldn’t paying tax once be enough?
Corporations pay millions in income taxes. Labor unions pay zero income taxes. It is time for the freeloaders to pay their fair share.
Since Kris Kobach is making it difficult for people to register to vote, let’s adopt another rule: If you’re judged an unproven citizen and denied voter registration, you should be ineligible to pay taxes to the state. I will not be satisfied until I see Hillary Clinton in an orange pantsuit.
Is there any doubt that the smartest woman in the world will easily figure a way around this latest vast right-wing conspiracy about her e-mails?
Does Donald Trump have any intentions of putting his entire empire in a blind trust?

On a comment about killing each other off “with our so-called legal guns”: How many of the recent murders have been committed by the so-called legal guns? It’s usually the criminals, who get the firearms illegally, committing the crimes, not the law-abiding citizens and sportsmen.
