When Charles Koch speaks these days, people listen. So landing Koch Industries’ chairman and CEO for the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner Nov. 2 at Century II was a big move that should make for a big crowd. And this marquee moment for the famously private titan of Wichita business is timely – shortly after his new book, “Good Profit: How Creating Value for Others Built One of the World’s Most Successful Companies,” hits stores and as the GOP presidential nomination race heads toward the first contests of 2016. Charles and his brother David Koch and their political and ideological network are expected to play a defining role in the campaigns. – Rhonda Holman
