Opinion Line (Aug. 8)

Until politicians can find the money (or will) to fully fund the VA, no member of the U.S. military should be sent into harm’s way. We love to call them heroes when it’s election time and forget them the rest of the time. Walk a mile in their boots.

Several GOP congressmen have spoken out against the pope for being too liberal. Wait till they meet Jesus.

Way to go, Westar. Constant rate hikes aren’t enough. All we get is an automated phone system, and can’t talk to anyone personally. Really? You guys need to try a little bit harder.
