If you really don’t know the difference between a Democrat and a socialist, there are ways to study and learn. Admitting you are ignorant is the first step toward recovery.

No difference between a Democrat and a socialist? Jesus was a socialist, so we’re good with that comparison.

Conservatives/Republicans don’t know the difference between a socialist and a Democrat because they don’t know what socialism is. The real question: What is the difference between a conservative/Republican and a fascist? None. They just toss out “socialist” to get people to vote against their own best self-interests.

It’s evident our “uniter” president is actively working to divide us by race, religion, occupation, politics, financial standing and current health.

It is amazing how Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, talked of fetal tissue for medical research. On her body, that same fetal tissue is called a leg, liver, heart, hand and head. Describing harvested body parts as tissue makes it sound more innocent. Yikes.

The Republicans want to defund Planned Parenthood. They control both chambers, so they will succeed in passing a bill to do just that. President Obama will veto the bill, and lacking votes, the bill will die. Bartender, make it a triple this time.

Ask women who have had abortions how “healthy” it was for them, since abortion is touted as “health care.” You will be surprised. Afraid to ask? Your fear speaks volumes.

Kansas Republican legislators who are now worrying about tax collection shortages should explain where that worry was when they were in session and could have taken action. Kind of like shutting the barn door after the cows are out.

With all the numbers coming out about Kansas fiscal status, school funding , etc., it substantiates the view that you can select any group of numbers out of the same pot and validate your viewpoint. “Figures don’t lie but liars do figure,” as my father said.

Why did it take Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett nearly a year to determine the Haysville police officer was justified in using lethal force against a man holding a knife to his girlfriend’s throat threatening to kill her? Seriously, it took a year to figure that out?

I’ll accept all Obama’s white lies compared with Bush’s big lie about weapons of mass destruction, and I’m sure so would many million more.

Everything in nature seeks balance. So when you have someone like Obama who’s shady, a known liar and whose stated goal is to destroy this country, then you are naturally going to have someone like Donald Trump come along who’s truthful, honest and wants to bring this country back.
