Opinion Line Extra (July 31)

We’ve all heard of “catch and release” when you’re fishing. Now what we need is “eat what you shoot” for hunters. The Minnesota dentist who shot the lion in Africa should have to eat the whole carcass.

It is so tragic that Cecil the lion was lured off his safe haven to be killed the way he was. Are people as upset that an 8-year-old girl was killed and thrown in a dumpster, allegedly by her 15-year-old neighbor, as they are about Cecil?

Sam Brownback’s budget announcement gave new meaning to the phase “cut and run.”

The same folks complaining about Brownback most likely voted for and support Obama and his tactics. Wake up – most politicians are all the same whether they are Republican, Democrat or independent.

With all the lies and deceit that Obama has spewed forth on our nation, Brownback looks like a saint in comparison.

I wonder if Obama checked on the price of housing on his latest trip to Africa. I hope he did so he can buy a house and live with friends and family members. That way, when he leaves office he can save a lot of travel time and money.

Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton would be a larger embarrassment for the USA than Obama has been or Trump would be.

Donald Trump is asked whether he will fire his attorney for what he said. Trump says “no.” Every other politician would explain how they are going to look into the matter and review all reactions. This is why I like Trump.

Could a biologist please tell us what climbed on top of Trump’s head and died? Was it an endangered species?

Just a bit envious of Trump’s hair? Must be for so many to be so obsessed with it. Get over it. There is more to a person than their hairstyle.

Elect Scott Walker and kiss Social Security goodbye.

I think the Democrat Party should be disbanded for being the party of slavery and continuing to suppress black people by not allowing school choice.

Even Kenya’s president doesn’t go along with gay marriage. That was shoved down our throats here.

The Bible only mentions homosexuality a couple of times. It mentions dozens of times how evil wealth is and how the wealthy don’t get into heaven. Maybe we need to ban wealthy people from marriage.

For proof of evolution, compare the old “snake oil” salesman pitching his wares out of his wagon with our present-day politicians and what they pitch.

Kris Kobach, campaigner against voter fraud, should jump at the chance to help Beth Clarkson, WSU statistician, investigate the irregularities she found. Oh, but not. He’s resisting her. What does that tell you?
