Opinion Line Extra (July 28)

Remember, when you vote for an incumbent you are perpetuating our government as it is now. Nothing will change.

Donald Trump did one thing to impress me and that was racking up five deferments to stay out of the Vietnam War. I thought chicken hawk Dick Cheney had a hold on that record, but I guess I was wrong.

Trump needs to learn to be more accurate. He keeps shooting himself in the foot.

Although his own political party is criticizing him, presidential contender Martin O’Malley had it right when he said “all lives matter.”

My idea of Wichita “revitalization” is electing competent city management. That will “revitalize” all of Wichita, not just downtown. We may not stuff re-election money in your pockets, but we do pay your salary. You aren’t earning it.

The only presidential “buffoon” the country has had in recent years was the two-termer who served immediately before President Obama.

I promise you that if it had been a U.S. Marine who killed five Muslims, Obama would have been all over it – press conferences, Justice Department sending 50 folks to Tennessee, all of us being scolded about being racist, etc.

Regarding the comment that progressives hate the Bible: Jesus was a progressive, and nothing that the Republicans are doing to our state is in any way Christian.

Christians need not worry that progressives have plans to confiscate their Bibles. It is assumed everyone will be reading a new progressive-revised version, which would be more politically correct.

To all of those who may support abortion at will: I hope you are comfortable in your conscience and heart, knowing that female executives of Planned Parenthood are selling organs and tissues from aborted fetuses over lunches of salads and wine.

Now that it has been revealed that Planned Parenthood is selling the organs from fetuses aborted at their clinics to the highest bidder, it is time to stop funding this organization with government money.

About the video showing the police officer at the side of the car of the woman who failed to signal to change lanes: I would like to see the video from the police car for the preceding 10 or 15 minutes to see if he was following her or on her back bumper.

Thank you for continually printing opinions from the left. It reminds us of how awful and stupid they are.

You could not pay me to use a tanning bed. Regular sun exposure, pollutants and just the years rolling by will age you fast enough. Why would you want to pay for the early wrinkles and dry skin, and do it in something that looks like a coffin no less?

Those Arby’s commercials are getting annoying. Go, bacon. Go away.
