It took 9 1/2 years and 3 billion miles for a spacecraft from Earth to reach Pluto. It should be obvious from the distances and time it takes to reach the outer limits of our own solar system that we need to take better care of our home planet.

Obama’s deal with Iran is a deal with the devil. Congress must reject it and override his veto.

Neville Chamberlain, where are you? You surely could have worked out a better Iran deal than what was just forced on us.

I can’t locate the clause in our Constitution that gives me the right not to be offended by anything anyone else does or says.

“Travel back in time. Come to Kansas” was once a tourism slogan about the Old West. It applies to Kansas of today. Bizarre and sad.

After listening to Kansas school administrators complain for the past six months about funding for their poor schools, I find their consternation about teacher retirements and inability to find new teachers to be amusing.

Have you drug-tested your state legislators lately? Maybe it’s time we did. They are state employees, too.
