As the expanding, acidic, rising ocean moves in on Florida’s cities, the last sound will be the roar and snarl of a NASCAR race.
It was good to hear congressman Mike Pompeo deferring to the scientific consensus regarding the safety of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Perhaps someday he will publicly acknowledge the scientific consensus regarding climate change and (dare I say it?) evolution.

The headline read: “Wichita again opts out of free-meals program.” If this had been a Brownback decision, it would have read: “Brownback starves children again!”
Teen boys are not dangerous, if you train them right, and neither are pit bulls.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t sharks have the right of way in the ocean over stupid people?
