The No. 1 problem in Kansas is the state Supreme Court. Kathleen Sebelius appointed four of the Supreme Court’s low-quality justices.
Republicans aren’t happy until they can put a for-profit entity between us and our needs.
When the going gets tough, Democrats want to spend more money, while conservatives want to cut unnecessary costs to save valuable taxpayer dollars.
Even if the GOP were able to repeal Obamacare, what does the party propose for those who are using it now? How would Republicans feel if their health care was forcibly withdrawn and they were left without coverage purely due to political bias?
One of the saddest political commercials I have seen is the one with Becky, who is voting for “Sam” because he cut her taxes. Is she so shallow and selfish that she will let Kansas go to ruin for a few extra dollars in her pocket?
What happened 16 years ago in a strip club outside Coffeyville doesn’t bother me nearly as much as what has taken place in the backrooms of the Statehouse in Topeka over the past four years.
I would not care if Paul Davis danced naked on a table 16 years ago as long as he will not join a compact to take over Medicare.
I am not a Pat Roberts or Sam Brownback fan. But we must vote and keep them around. A vote for Greg Orman or Paul Davis is a vote for Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Durbin. Kansas and our country cannot withstand years of higher taxes and a culture of corruption.
Someone asked how we know what Greg Orman will do if elected to the Senate. We know what he will do by the fact he gave thousands of dollars to Barack Obama and Harry Reid.
It’s apparent Orman is getting desperate when he would insinuate that Roberts has anything to do with allowing the increase in border-crossing criminals, or that he alone can stop them.
If a member of Congress has to call on lobbyists for money and support, and fellow politicians to campaign for him, then whom does he represent? If you say the voter, then you are naive.
A consistent theme in Kris Kobach’s public service is that he makes himself the center of any controversy. He doesn’t solve problems. He creates them – a true narcissist, a man in love with himself.
The federal law against loud commercials was signed in December 2010. Why isn’t this law being enforced?
We all like to think we’re Dorothy, when in reality we’re one of the other three.
