Opinion Line (July 5)

On, no! The climate is changing! In six months, it’ll be freezing and there will be blizzards! Run! Run for the hills!

The Supreme Court ruled against the EPA regarding its draconian limits meant to kill the coal industry. My bet is the EPA will pay as much attention to this ruling as the IRS or Hillary Clinton has to their subpoenas for records. Those things are only for the little people.

Puerto Rico, Greece, Detroit – it’s all the same: a house of cards. They live way beyond their means, being a sugar daddy to all the citizens, borrowing money to do it, and then borrowing more money to make minimum payments to remain “solvent.” A Ponzi scheme of the highest order.

Your President Obama claims that sanctions against Cuba haven’t worked. He then needs to explain why there are sanctions still against North Korea, Russia, Iran, Syria and a number of others.

Our last hope, the Supreme Court, in its recent decisions has dipped to the same low as Washington politicians.

Go ahead and give America to Hillary Clinton. It’s not going to be worth anything after Obama and the Supreme Court are done with it.

I truly want it explained to me how the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage threatens or takes away anyone’s freedom of religion.

Moderate Republicans are no better than Democrats. We need to elect true conservatives.

Want to invalidate anyone or anything? Pin the “racist” label on it.

Considering that he is not a career politician and can’t be bought, if the election were held today, I would absolutely vote for Donald Trump.

Trump-Kobach 2016.

Considering that 49 percent of registered voters did not vote in the 2014 election, who out there is so obsessed with voting that they’d intentionally do it twice? And Kris Kobach is going to protect me by squandering money Kansas doesn’t have to prosecute voter fraud that doesn’t exist.

Interesting that the Kansas attorney general should use the word “unprecedented” to describe a ruling identical to all the other court decisions handed down every time the governor and Legislature force the school districts to sue them.

If Gov. Sam Brownback’s megalomaniacal attacks on the Kansas Supreme Court succeed, he will only be accountable to the rich folks who paid for ads to re-elect him and ensure they pay no state income taxes.

Had enough? In your front yard and car window, display a sign demanding, “Sack Brownback.”

Can anyone inform me of a help line for people who get a silly tune stuck in their head all day?
