So air bag manufacturer Takata may have put profits before safety. Really? What a shocker. Not. In the absence of oversight or regulation, the temptation to cut corners or defraud the public is huge.
It appears conservatives are OK with corporations having full constitutional personhood but not gays and lesbians.
Stop imposing your moral values on others. Stop attacking us with lawsuits and litigation when we choose not to participate in your gay ceremonies.
The argument against gay marriage is religious only, pure and simple. The Supreme Court could not consider that, hence its prohibition was found unconstitutional. Thank goodness we are a country of laws and not religion.
Same-sex marriages go completely against the beliefs of Christians. Will Christians lose their rights when they do not allow such marriages to be performed in their churches?
The Republicans’ policy of creating solutions to problems that don’t really exist does not seem to be working for them.
Freedom of religion does not mean you’re free to legislate your morals. It means you are free to worship how you want. Big difference.
I don’t want to see the e-mails Hillary Clinton has released. I want to see the ones she lost, misplaced, erased or denied ever existed. Of course at this point, what difference does she make?
The reason the left wants the government to foster dependency in our citizens is to cultivate voters who will guarantee continued power as long as entitlements are provided. The problem, of course, is that eventually government will run out of “other people’s money,” as Margaret Thatcher once famously said.
The basic difference between Democrats and Republicans is this: Republicans seek control in order to help their kind – wealthy white people and their corporations, while Democrats seek control in order to try to help all people realize their potential.
People vote for Republican candidates because they want to keep more of what they earn. People vote for Democrat candidates because they want to keep more of what other people earn.
Looking back over history – Social Security, Medicare and now Obamacare – why is it that Republicans seem to always end up on the wrong side of issues?
Textron Aviation should be ashamed of the so-called health insurance it forces upon, I mean, offers to its employees. We can’t afford the huge deductible, and we pay monthly just to have it.
Stay off drugs and alcohol, and get a job. Take care of your kids, if you’re lucky enough to spawn some. If you truly do this, and they turn out to be criminals, well, not your fault, you tried. Otherwise, shut up.
When the SS did it, we said “never again.” When ISIS does it, we do very little.
