The U.S. Supreme Court has made it official: We are no longer a country of laws. It has ignored the plain wording of the law and applied Obamacare subsidies to use of the federal exchange when the clear intent was for state exchanges only.
The Obamacare decision is proof again that justices should have limited terms, to limit the politicized damage they do.
The Confederate battle flag is a heinous symbol. But it’s only a symbol. The nine people in Charleston, S.C., weren’t killed by a flag. They were killed by a gun.
When states ban the Confederate flag, the issue of banning the U.S. flag will arise. We already have schools changing or banning the Pledge of Allegiance. The U.S. flag flew much longer over a slave nation than the Confederate flag did. World government flag, here we come?
Take down the Confederate flag in Wichita. It’s history, and keep it that way.
If you believe a flag is racist, you’re the racist.
The idea that some lives matter less than others is the root of all the evil in the world.
What has our country come to when a presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, can give a campaign speech and say that all lives matter? I’m sorry – are there any candidates out there who don’t believe that?
Why are we spending $9 million a day to keep our troops in Iraq when we have people in this country who are going hungry?
It seems like it would be really easy to infiltrate ISIS when they take anyone.
It is a joke that some college presidents make a quarter of a million dollars a year.
I am positive that Gov. Sam Brownback should run for president. I’m just not sure in which Third World country it should be.
Kansas, this is what you get when the Koch brothers own the Legislature. Those most able to pay taxes don’t. And legislators can’t vote against the wishes of those who put them there. Get used to it.
Message to Republicans: No matter what faction you claim you used to be from, in the end you caved because some clown in the mansion made an idle threat. Who cares? Well, this is not an idle threat: We’re here to stay, and we will persevere. We will beat you.
Why is it that when someone is suffering from allergies, people say “It’s just allergies”? Allergies are constant irritations, and the common cold usually lasts about a week.
