Is it true that Hillary Clinton has hired Rachel Dolezal to help her become the first black female president? She’s already on board with the deceit and lying.

It is far too easy for the insane, near insane and paranoid gun nuts to obtain high rate of fire weapons. I suppose the next thing the NRA would desire would be for citizens to obtain anti-tank rockets and mortars.

The U.S. should dread and avoid being taken advantage of by a hostile world. In their own self-interests, some nations are our allies, not our friends. Fast-track trade agreements being urged on us by President Obama are a dangerous threat. Globalization is a curse.

So a Westar energy-efficiency program was scrapped because some of its customers might be subsidizing other customers on the program – and that’s a bad thing. But the Obamacare absurdity is exactly the same – and that’s a good thing?

Why on Earth don’t we tax churches? Most of them in Kansas now offer a mix of Fox politics and – well, I guess that is a religion.

State legislators who stay past the end of the session should not get overtime (per diem) but be fined.

And the 2015 Richard Milhous Nixon Leadership, Honesty and Transparency Award goes to ... Gov. Sam Brownback of Kansas.

The governor said the sun is shining in Kansas. The question is, will we have to pay tax on the sun’s rays to balance the budget next year? Or will he increase the gas tax so he’ll have more money to take from the highway fund?

I predict the biggest boost in job growth as a result of the governor’s tax plan will occur within organizations serving the poor.

Have you noticed all the street vendors along 21st Street between Waco and Arkansas? It’s a shame they cannot use the city-built Nomar International Market because of all the train horns. Let’s do something about these trains (quiet zone) so we can utilize this space as the city intended.

Too bad Shona Banda didn’t do like the rest of us Kansas secret pot smokers: Buy it from a fine, upstanding representative of a Mexican drug cartel, hide it from friends and family, and smoke it in the closet when nobody is around, especially the kids.

My sister works for the gas company, and she emptied a bottle of pepper spray on a pit bull. It viciously bit her anyway. You don’t hear of poodles or Chihuahua killing people and other dogs. Pit bulls should not be classified as dogs.
