The government, and particularly the president, is completely at fault for the spread of Ebola to the U.S. Travel to and from West Africa should have been shut down as soon as reports of the outbreak became known.
Isn’t it about time the United States cut off both potential Ebola infections and terrorists from entering our country?
One of the light poles at the “light sculpture” at Central and Meridian has been burned out for a month. A second went out this week. Now it just looks like junk.
Great PR work, Walmart – attempting to blame Tracy Morgan for his injuries after the vehicle he was in got hit by a Walmart truck.
Who is Greg Orman? Does he have a family? I have only heard he is a rich businessman from Minnesota, a very Democratic state.
Orman says he would support the best ideas, no matter who thought of them. Does he think Kansans are dumb enough to vote for a man with such foolish ideas? If the idea spread, it would upset the foundation our congressional system is based on. He doesn’t understand how Congress works.
Anyone who has any doubts about Orman’s past, present and future political leanings and how he will vote need look no further than the political candidate signs placed around town. Almost every place you see a Democratic candidate’s sign you also see his.
Pat Roberts: You have been in office for almost 20 years and you can’t run on your record?
If Roberts is begging for help from Craig Gabel and others of his ilk, Roberts is even more desperate than I’ve been led to believe.
The so-called heavy hitters in the Republican Party coming to Kansas to back an old horse all have one thing in common: They all lost.
I started out poor in life but learned to live by a budget, and have never had an unpaid debt. Gov. Sam Brownback’s pie-in-the-sky plans are simply hogwash, and will take a long time to recover from.
The young, whiny girl in the Brownback ad should understand that the tax referred to could not have happened without majority Republican approval.
Pat Roberts, Kris Kobach, Charlie Weis and Sam Brownback all have the same serious, haggard look. Weis’ buyout will be small compared with what the other three receive in kickbacks and future lobbying. Four big smiles at the expense of the Kansas taxpayers.
Registered Kansas voter for 40 years. Too old to drive. No license. Off to DMV for voter ID, armed with envelope of required documents including marriage license (say what?). Forked over poll tax of $18. Now I can vote again.
