Opinion Line (Sept. 27)
If the state of Kansas wants us to be prepared for a zombie attack, then it should issue every Kansan a lightsaber since it is the most efficient weapon for killing zombies.
It’s too late to have Gov. Sam Brownback’s Zombie Preparedness Month. With Brownback as governor, Kansas is already a disaster.
Somebody please hose the vision from my mind of Paul Davis sitting in a private lap dance room of a strip joint with a woman wearing only a G-string. Does that kind of conference demand attorney-client privilege?
If Brownback had been caught in a topless bar, my opinion of him would go up slightly.
I’m surprised Rick Perry’s felony bond supervisor allowed him to leave the state.
So, Republicans don’t believe Justice Carol Beier was not involved in a political meeting her husband had at their home? Why not? They believed Brownback when he said he invited most of the conservative legislators to Cedar Crest for a party and not a closed political meeting.
There are more skunks in Washington, D.C., and Topeka than in east Wichita. Without an official poll, I’m sure a greater percentage of them are rabid, too.
Eric Holder promises the moon to the people in Ferguson, Mo., then retires.
Joe Biden may finally get something right. Iraq could break into three parts anytime now.
No matter how imperfect Obama’s attempts were, he kept us from the suffering of the 1930s – people starving and losing homes, banks closing. Things in 2008 and on cannot compare with the Great Depression. Sad that some in our society are too ignorant to understand that.
Since Chad Taylor has declared himself unfit for public office, why is he still the Shawnee County district attorney?
Independent candidates who play both sides of fences are not how we will resolve the direction of the country. The Convention of States is our only hope before the corrupt politicians bankrupt our country. We need necessary amendments for term limits and to control spending and huge unfunded liabilities.
How can anyone forget that John McCain’s poor judgment could have positioned Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency?
Democrats tell us not to vote Pat Roberts or Sam Brownback as if it’s a vote against Obama, yet ask us to vote Greg Orman and Paul Davis only because they’re not Roberts and Brownback. Don’t fall for it.
I’m confused – you sport a pink ribbon license plate yet you tailgate at 70 mph. Do you value life or not?
