Opinion Line Extra (Sept. 22)
Some people waited in line for two weeks for the new iPhone. I don’t like having one person in front of me in line. I cannot imagine waiting two weeks in line for anything.
I wonder how many thousands of acres of grass we could have burned to equal the amount of smoke that was produced at the airport disaster drill.
The smackdown of Kris Kobach was far past due. He is an arrogant bully and not the type of person who should be in any political arena in today’s political climate.
So Kobach is not happy with the Kansas Supreme Court’s decision on Chad Taylor? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. The Democrats are doing this one time what Kobach has been doing for years, manipulating the voting system to suit his agenda.
How’s KanCare working for the citizens of Kansas? The rural hospitals and clinics may have to close as a result of KanCare not paying their bills. Gov. Sam Brownback never mentions this in his ads.
Higher taxes, higher health care costs, job killing, Obama, Reid, Pelosi – Sen. Pat Roberts uses the same tired GOP buzzwords as his message to get him re-elected. If that’s all Roberts can come up with, Greg Orman is right – we do deserve better.
Why is it that Orman’s political commercials show him talking to only men? Women vote, too, and there are more of us. Wake up.
Why would any Kansas Republican vote for an independent? The Democrat pulled out so the independent candidate can win. Do we need the U.S. Senate remaining in Democrat hands? If you say “yes,” you must be happy with the Obama administration and what it has done to the country.
Republicans, beware: Local media and newspapers are biased toward the liberals. If you believe all they expel, you would think the Republican world is coming to the end. Don’t believe it. Get off your butts and vote. We will prevail again.
Federal and state politicians need a 12-step program that teaches you not to blame others for your faults. Step No. 4: Inventory yourself, and maybe you can break your habit of pointing fingers because three are pointing back at you.
Wake up, America. You slept through the ruination of a once-proud country in less than eight years. You were asleep while voting in the past two national elections. This is not America anymore.
With zero military experience, our commander in chief had better start listening to his military generals.
The NFL is not breaking-news-worthy on national TV. Maybe on ESPN.
