Opinion Line (Sept. 20)

The U.S Supreme Court is already stacked with leftist judges, hence Obamacare. The only way to stop the complete hijacking of the court is to take the majority away from the Democrats in the Senate. It is critically important for our country’s future.

I’m sure that there is a Kansas Democrat somewhere named Pat Roberts who would be happy to run for the U.S. Senate. Let’s get him on the ballot.

I have a feeling Secretary of State Kris Kobach is hoping the Democrats nominate Jean Schodorf for the Senate race.

I am so happy Kobach has the guts to do his job, demanding voter ID and fighting Chad Taylor’s attempt to withdraw his name from the ballot. If only we had more elected officials doing what they were elected to do. Kobach has been right on.

Taylor said his resignation letter implied that he was “incapable.” If that is true, most Republicans would agree with him. If it is not true, the statement constitutes election fraud.

Ironically, thousands of Kansas residents have received a piece of mail in support of the candidacy of the man some are calling the “senator from Virginia,” Pat Roberts, from an organization headquartered in Virginia.

Conservatives, Republicans, independents who do not support Obama: Hold your nose if you must, but do not do a protest vote or not vote. Do not vote for Democrat-in-disguise Greg Orman or Obama-phile Paul Davis. The left is salivating over Kansas.

If anything is going to force or necessitate school consolidation, it would most likely be Gov. Sam Brownback’s economic policies.

Brownback wants more folks to move to rural Kansas. So nice to know he will be pleased when we send him out to pasture.

To Kansas Republicans: You may not be happy with Brownback and Roberts, but you know that the alternatives all point toward the Democrats and Obama. Vote accordingly.

Why do so many people think it’s up to Sedgwick County to fund the Judge Riddel Boys Ranch? The complainers should start writing checks.

I love the NFL, aka the National Felon League.

The NFL now knows what it is like to be surrounded by hungry sharks. Officials are being devoured by the insatiable appetite of a 24-hour news cycle. There are bad apples everywhere. That doesn’t make them all bad.

If Roger Goodell won’t quit on his own, then he needs to be fired, as soon as possible. His mindset must be the same as most politicians and criminals in that he did and can do no wrong and he will never admit that he did.
