Opinion Line Extra (May 18)

Is anyone else tired of the local television on-site reporters using the word “actually” in their reports, or is it like people using “you know” all of the time? Do they even realize that they are saying it?

After a recent storm I was amazed at the number of imbeciles who ignored (or are ignorant of) the law, didn’t care or lacked a single shred of common sense by trying to kill other drivers when they blew through intersections with nonworking traffic signals.

I’ve never been a loser. How do liberals do it all the time?

Why does everyone think presidential candidates should know exactly how to solve all the world’s ills when Obama gets daily briefings on every incident in the world, plus advice from the CIA, DOD and others, and still doesn’t have a clue?

If the Obamas dislike everything about this country so much, why do they continue to live here?

Evidence suggests that Hillary Clinton is, if not fully corrupt, more so than any modern candidate for president. Our country is already lost if any single person would consider her as a person to even be considered to lead us. Period.

I see where even the ever-liberal pundit Matt Bai is questioning the integrity of Hillary Clinton. Does America really want ol’ Bill debauching the halls of the White House again?

Jeb Bush should take his lead from Ralph Cramden when answering questions about Iraq: “Hamina, hamina, hamina.”

Let’s see now – we Republicans don’t believe the Earth is warming. We want to deport all illegals and eliminate abortions. We would hate to see a woman president. We don’t believe in health care for everyone. We believe in smaller government, and no gun control.

Keep giving businesses tax cuts with no requirement to even spend the extra money in Kansas, and pay for it with an increase in the sales tax. That’s how Kansas government works. I think it stinks.

I am really tired of Kansas and am taking my family to another state.

Do the members of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce really think that they deserve to pay no Kansas income tax? Or are they just greedy?

Sen. Ty Masterson seems to think that the schools are trying to make him and his political party look bad. He and his party are doing one heck of a job looking bad without any help from anyone else.

I keep wondering about the phrase, with which I agree, “Black lives matter.” Where are the demonstrations by blacks on behalf of blacks killed by their own race? Are lives not so important if a black is doing the killing?
