I’ll bet money that if the Republicans take the Senate in November, which they almost certainly will, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will suddenly decide she needs to retire before February.
If you complain about our weak response to ISIS and our shrinking military ranks, you are likely the same person who wants to shrink the budget deficit and cut taxes at the same time.
Either Pat Roberts isn’t smart enough to spend a couple hundred bucks a month to maintain a legitimate residence in Dodge City, or he’s so full of the sin of pride that he thinks he can continue to bamboozle the citizens of Kansas. Either should preclude him from remaining senator.

City of Wichita: Please do not allow the rocket scientist who designed the Mulvane casino turnpike exit into the room while you are designing the K-96/East Kellogg/turnpike exit.
I know the state and local governments are broke, but the bridge on 135th Street West between 29th and 21st is so bad you can see the rebar in the concrete. Can’t we even afford to put an asphalt patch in until Paul Davis is elected?
There should be a fund people could donate to in order to save the Judge Riddel Boys Ranch.

Tom Otterness’ “Dreamers Awake” sculpture at the Wichita Art Museum should retain its current placement, which gives it the rightful context it deserves, prominence and visibility. The community is fortunate to have this compelling sculpture greet and challenge us.
“The Argyle Sweater” comic is pathetic. It’s not funny. When I do get the joke, it’s very weak. Can you replace it with something that actually is hilarious?
