Opinion Line (Sept. 13)
I am always amazed when I see an auto that still has an Obama-Biden sticker on it. Have they no shame?
Roger Goodell seems to have forgotten that only Obama can lie to everyone in the country, get away with it and keep his job.
So now, according to Barack Obama and John Kerry, a war is not a war. “It’s a major counterterrorism operation” with “many different moving parts.” Give me a break.
I absolutely feel safer today than I did before Sept. 11, 2001. The current president never once has ignored a warning about a possible attack on U.S. soil, in stark contrast to his predecessor.

The NRA doesn’t just promote gun sales; it promotes fear so gun sales will continue to increase at Americans’ deadly expense.
If the wife of the youth football coach had not been armed, she might be planning his funeral. Instead, she is listening to a lot of lame gun-control arguments. What she did, according to police, was better than standing by helplessly while thugs beat him to death.
To all the fast-food workers who think they need $15 per hour: Try getting my order right sometimes. If I messed up at my work as much as you do, I would be fired.
These kids think $15 an hour is what they deserve? The young generation has an amazing sense of “give me.” Fast food is a fast-paced workplace at times, but doesn’t require great skills.
As a mother who has lost a son to ALS, I thank all the ice-bucket participants. We pray for a cure in the near future to prevent others from suffering such a heartbreaking loss.
Thanks, Bob Lutz, for your column on the Wingnuts (Sept. 10 Opinion), or else Wichita may have not known that they are playing for a championship. If it were WSU, it would have been on the front page and in every other section. This is your team, Wichita. Support it.
If you pull a trailer through a drive-through, you’re a special kind of stupid.
