Ferguson, Mo., reinforces the insanity of giving away surplus battlefield equipment to local police. The real reason police forces possess it: It allows the crooked Pentagon to justify feeding the voracious appetite of the military industrial complex.
I wonder whom the pollsters are calling. I wish they would call me. I would be happy to tell them what I think about liberal Democrats Paul Davis, Greg Orman and Barack Obama.
Who needs polls to tell you who is leading in the governor’s race? At the State Fair on Sunday I saw lots of folks mulling around the Davis-Docking booth and not a soul at the Brownback-whoever booth.
First he had the solution to our state’s economic woes. Now our governor is claiming he has the way out of poverty. What next? Will he walk on water or solve world hunger?
Americans for Prosperity, downtown development, the Chamber of Commerce and Sam Brownback are killing Kansas.
Just as the masses start questioning His existence, nature surprises everyone. Perfect weather, in time for the big Kansas get-together, is a gift from the Almighty to the Kansas farmers in appreciation for feeding the world’s hungry for more than a century.
Let’s put a couple of cement elephants in the zoo. Kids can get up close and even climb up on them. It would preserve the experience of knowing about elephants while saving a lot of taxpayers’ money.
I have fully supported game management and hunting all of my adult life. Those four individuals “caught” with 209 doves need to be made an example of and have the book thrown at them.
We are always told how thoughtful President Obama is when studying an issue. There is a major difference between being thoughtful and suffering from analysis paralysis. It appears he cannot make tough decisions.
Does Obama really think that bombing ISIS is going to defeat it? The only thing that will do is inconvenience it. Anyone not ignorant on the subject knows that the only way to beat ISIS is with boots on the ground.
I actually feel safer when Obama is on the golf course than when he’s in the Oval Office.
I took a walking tour of the WSU campus Saturday. Everything seems to be shaping up nicely and is very pretty. What would really set it up nicely is a great big statue of our beloved WuShock.
