Giving legal status to Dreamers is not amnesty. They have broken no laws. They were brought here by their parents, through no fault of their own. Don’t call it amnesty.
The greatest frustration for voters comes from knowing how a problem can be solved, but then witnessing politicians refusing to solve it because they prefer to save the issue as a weapon in the next election, and the one after that.
Build the wall. Deport them all. America first. Then perhaps we can help others. We should not be helping someone else’s family before securing your own.
It’s amazing how Republicans in Congress readjust the tales that come out of the White House. They need to get their fake news in order on the first try so we don’t have to listen more than once.
The leftists in Congress are obviously confused, incompetent and should be removed from office. Trying to keep a bunch of border crossing criminals in the U.S. has absolutely nothing to do with funding the government.
Trump wants to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem by 2019. The timing couldn’t be more perfect because Muller’s report on Russian collusion will be out by then and Trump needs a war to deflect the news.
The bias against Republicans shown by the big three networks is not just misleading, it’s also unethical reporting. News flash: Americans aren’t stupid, they know what is going on.
Every time I see Trump in the Oval Office wearing a suit and a baseball cap, I think, “Is this nut job really president?”
Goverment shutdown: Dems grandstand for future votes. Republicans know they are going to agree to children born here as citizens. Common sense dictates it. The matter could be settled now rather than March. Both sides are disgustingly juvenile.
I had to chuckle at the last line of Leonard Pitts’s article concerning Trump’s presidency. One down. Three to go. I thought the same thing at the end of President Obama‘s first year.
It’s interesting how a smartphone can be turned into a spy tool.
