The root problem with the Wichita police shooting is the senior on-scene officers have no control over the inexperienced, scared officers. Everyone is free to shoot whenever and come up with an excuse. Make the on-scene commander responsible.


If you think James Thompson’s comments were campaign sensationalism and not useful towards a solution, then you must be irate about President Trump’s Twitter account.


Mr. Crowson, we get it that you dislike Republicans. How about some other cartoon topics for a change?


The media is obsessed with Trump’s “vulgar language,” yet describes the filthy signs displayed at the women’s march as “salty.”


Legalizing pot will create the United Stoners of America.


All DACA participants currently enrolled will be able to become citizens in five years, as long as they stay out of trouble. Democrats will not go for this as they need the votes for 2018 and 2020.


To the person that pretends a policeman is following them: Please try following them to see if they do everything right, maybe they will become better drivers.


Starving white owls would be fed on my property. They are creatures of nature and I would not let them starve, hopefully to live and reproduce its kind. If feeding the wild geese is acceptable, why not these white snowy owls?


With all of the awards ceremonies featured on TV, it is obvious that no one loves and respects actors and entertainers more than actors and entertainers.


Please keep the government shut down three more years, until Trump is gone. Thanks.


Enter a “blast a liberal” piece into this column, and it’ll be published every time. Enter something reasonably intelligent, and it never sees the light of day.


Not much is being done in Topeka, except for the endless free meals that legislators enjoy from special interests — as taxpayers provide per diem expenses. On Fridays, lawmakers check in early to get their per diem before they head home.


Maybe our elected officials in Washington can at least agree on what day of the week it is, but I doubt it.
