So all of you far right Brownback groupies feel like you got the shaft Tuesday night? That’s how the rest of us have felt for the last seven years.

Teachers deserve raises. Administrators should quit robbing the kitty.

It upsets me to read that the public thinks that Gavilon Grain does not provide proper safety equipment to its employees. It does and sometimes the employees fail to work safely.

Freelance journalist David Rundle nailed it with his column about how KanCare has not worked for the state’s vulnerable populations. Fix KanCare 1.0 or better yet, get rid of it. At the very least carve out the I/DD population.

Is there actually a mental health professional person out there who could really, truthfully give a mental evaluation on a president and keep the personal and presidential mental ability separate? Like personal and business tax returns.

Anyone who still supports President Trump is as callous, bigoted and vile as he is. There is no possible way to excuse or explain away his behavior.

As a Vietnam veteran, I am appalled at the positive opinions about the new movie “The Post.” To somehow glorify the stealing and then subsequent release to the public of classified government documents is typical Hollywood trash.

Has anyone considered the fact Andy Reid may not be that good a coach? He has been a playoff loser everywhere he has coached. The Chiefs need to look at a new coach, not new players.

Perhaps the worst thing about “Fire and Fury” is that it revealed nothing that was not already known — to those who have been paying attention. Sad.

It is not government's (the taxpayers’) responsibility to pay to train and educate aircraft workers or for any other private sector occupation.

I back into parking spaces because giant pickup trucks and SUVs make it impossible to see if anyone is coming when backing out. I will continue doing it, so get over it, ya big baby.

Don't take us Opinion Line contributors too seriously. If we were, we would be submitting Letters to the Editor instead.
