The economy started tanking with a year and a half left in the Clinton administration. Bush got the blame. Last thing we need is another Clinton in the White House.
Well, old Hillary has done it again. Now she is stirring up more dirt with her Van Ganzi vehicle.
One guy has the nerve to land a gyrocopter to tell Congress it should do something about the way big money is taking over our government. It’s sad that none of the members of Congress has the guts to do something.
When the kids of our state have to take protective training to avoid being shot by some nut with a gun, it shows that the souls of our governor, the GOP and the NRA are nonexistent. Their support of guns at any cost, even our children’s lives, is disgusting.
I grew up as a farm kid. We had a couple of shotguns and a couple of .22 rifles. Nobody was going to outlaw those. What has happened in this country – concerning firearms – is hardly short of madness.
Thank goodness the ambulance-chasing Paul Davis wasn’t elected Kansas’ governor.
New Yorker Barry Ritholtz opines, a bit early I say, about the failure of the economic and tax reforms in Kansas (April 19 Opinion). Methinks he ought to keep his opinion to himself, as his home state of New York has enough problems looming in its own economic future.
Wow. Brownback’s poster child for getting off welfare is working for the state. Looks like a great way to end welfare – have the state hire all the welfare recipients for undefined jobs. I am sure this will reduce expenditures while boosting the egos of the governor and his comrades.
Our astute legislators have put a $25 cap on welfare ATM daily withdrawals. Tricky. Ever try to squeeze a $5 bill from an ATM?
You should eat foods because you like them and they taste good. All this “vitamin this” and “protein that,” the “calorie this” and the “gluten free that” is completely irrelevant. Just see to it that it’s a normal adult portion for one, not six.
If illegals are wanting in the United States in record numbers, will they also go to war for this country in record numbers to protect the very place where they sought refuge?
I don’t care if I never see another prom-proposal again. Well, actually I do care. I never want to see another prom-proposal again.
