Keep the trees in Naftzger Park and some of the hardscape. The neglected pond could be filled in for a flat space. We do not need another treeless area.


Remember old western movies where the cowboy used to grab the girl and kiss her? Lots of sexual assault back then.


The Republican tax plan is just another trickle down. They are insulting the intelligence of the middle class.


This seems like a dangerous path. If you dislike someone elected to public office, make accusations of sexual misconduct three or four decades in the past, where said accusations can be neither proven nor disproven.


Clearwater council: Nice work, let’s go back to Abe Lincoln days so your kids can do their school work by candlelight and you can use your mule to help you grow your own food. Giddy-up.


I’d like to see everyone that donated to congressional campaign directly or indirectly would be ineligible for any tax cuts.


With the Tyson plant, there will also be over 100 chicken farms. Live chickens will be transported in open trucks. And don’t forget all the waste from the chickens that will be washed into our water.


Funny how the GOP, the party of family values, looks the other way when their own members don’t live by those values.


Every day I’m assaulted by sales tax, state tax, federal tax, personal property tax, gas tax and all the taxes listed on my phone bill that don’t make sense. Surely there others out there that have been assaulted in the same manner.


Seems ridiculous that the Legislature and the Supreme Court cannot work with each other enough to get the school funding issue resolved. Now how many years? As bad as Washington, ineffective and inefficient.


In the Kansas Legislature, bills that do not identify a sponsor or a source should not even be considered in a committee or by the full House or Senate.


If you can afford to retire, please retire. The people below you would like to ride out their careers in Wichita and not have to relocate due to budget cuts.
