What an absolute disgrace our Kansas lawmakers use “gut and go,” which should be illegal. Anyone who has used “gut and go” should be fired and never able to hold public office again.


How much money do local schools received from Kansas and federal governments for schools to use in complying with federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act? Do private schools have to comply?


After reading the article on secrecy in the Kansas Legislature, it makes me wonder what the politicians and especially Sen. Susan Wagle and the other Republicans are hiding.


I would rather see a coal-fired power plant every 50 to 60 miles than a unending line of those ugly wind powered generators stretching to the horizon and beyond.


Why did anyone vote for a school-board candidate who is so uneducated they place election signs in the city right of way?


The article on how Kansas lawmakers disguise sensitive bills Wednesday was journalism at its finest. Thank you. I hope everyone wrote to their state legislators.


Wealth is really just another opioid.


Has the mayor or any of his city street managers ever driven down one of the strip-patched streets? They are making the streets worse. Fix the streets right the first time.


I was sickened by the article on our legislature’s secret shenanigans. Now we can’t tell who to hold accountable. And they rig bills to get their pet projects passed. God bless those like Tom Sawyer.


Still waiting for Richard Crowson to draw a sarcastic cartoon about the Clintons. He has no problem being sarcastic about unproven claims about Republicans.


Being so hell-bent on technology will drive everyone mad.


I am flabbergasted that so many women continue to supported abusers like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Roy Moore. As long as you regard yourselves as second class citizens, these Neanderthals will continue to treat you as such.


For every mailer of untruths sent out against my state legislator by Americans for Prosperity, I am sending a significant contribution to my legislator.


Will the person who told comedians that profanity is funny please go back and tell them it’s not?
