What more can we ask for? Gregg Marshall, Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet are staying, Chapa is home, and Hillary Clinton is running for president. Now let’s get on to better things.

So Chapa the beaver can solve all of his problems by simply going home. Hmm.

We should not incarcerate wild animals for our entertainment.

The Wichita school district is a bully. It sues the state for more of my money while it sits on $350,000 vacant school buildings it won’t sell.

Why don’t you leftist idiots get off your high horse? There aren’t any students going without an education or their lunches, and all of you know it. The education system gets more money every year regardless.

What is wrong with America today that if you take pride in providing for yourself through the fruits of your hard work, instead of accepting entitlement money leeched from the taxpayer, there’s something wrong with you?

Don’t want to pay taxes? Don’t believe in paying for public infrastructure that you think you don’t use? Religiously vote for ultra-right conservatives who want to end all government? Then you can’t complain when there is no water, local school or hospital, no road maintenance, no ambulance service.

Why doesn’t Gov. Sam Brownback just get this treatment of our poor over with? Give them a block grant – I mean a payment – that will enable them to move out of Kansas. Many of us, and now others across the country, feel this is what the GOP actually wants.

I miss Joan Finney.

A 3-year-old shot and killed his 1-year-old brother in Cleveland. This couldn’t happen in Kansas. Our governor, in his infinite wisdom, has declared that all Kansans are instinctively born knowing gun safety. No training required. Right?

Why don’t we list what Democrats have built compared with what Republicans have torn down? All anyone needs to do is show the damage former President George W. Bush did to America.

I still cannot get over naming an aircraft carrier after Gerald Ford. If it performs as well as he did as president, it will roll over and sink during sea trials.

Why would people come to a gym and just sit on equipment and stare into space or play with their cellphones? Use the equipment and get off so others may use it.
