If the Tyson chicken plant comes to Wichita, we should adopt “Chicken Train” by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils as the city’s theme song.
Those who stage hate crimes and get the public all stirred up should face the same punishment that someone would be subject to if they had really done the deed. It’s no laughing matter.
Sen. Roberts and Sen. Moran say they want to hear from us. Tried calling Wichita and D.C. offices all day Friday, only received a message to leave a message. I guess that means they do want to hear but not answer questions.
The city of Wichita likes to issue moving vehicle tickets by camera. Take it to court. Make them bring the camera and the video used. It should be inspected for proper working order and proof. This will make them stop.
I’m all for the Tyson plant to be in southeast Kansas. Maybe then the real estate market will rise and I can sell my house for what it’s worth instead of taking a loss.
To those who think Wichita is too highbrow for Tyson, I have bad news. Not a single out-of-state white collar business, high tech or otherwise, is relocating to Kansas. Educated millennials want nothing to do with Sam Brownback's legacy.
It is ironic that President Trump visited Vietnam on Veterans Day, a visit he opted out of nearly 50 years ago due to foot problems while others his age were gaining their status as veterans by honorably serving their country.
Losing a couple elections in historically blue states does not make a downfall for the GOP.
Sorry, Mr. Merritt, raising taxes is never inevitable. There are many alternatives, however, a tax-and-spend liberal like you would probably never apply them.
Survival of our planet is too important to leave in the hands of Donald Trump.
Those that are knowledgeable about the subject claim that sitting for too long is unhealthy. Now they claim that they’ve discovered that standing too long is also unhealthy. That’s why I’ve decided to stay in bed.
