Are there going to be open forums for Wichita fire chief candidates as they did with the Wichita police chief a few years ago? Just curious.


A prominent woman admits embezzling $4 million dollars. She and her husband say they can’t pay the money back. We are told no criminal charges have been filed. Why do wealthy white people not have to pay for their crimes?


KanCare, ha. If you are getting on in years and need help, you should consider relocating. More like Kandoesn’tCare.


To the thoughtful man at Doc Greens on Nov. 11, those really were tears of surprise and gratitude as you took my check and paid for my meal — this was one of the best birthday presents for my 75th birthday.

Maybe North Korea will test a hydrogen bomb deeply enough to trigger a volcano. I certainly wouldn't feel too bad if they buried themselves under a nice coating of magma. One can only cross ones fingers and hope.


Why is so little attention paid at restaurants to the quality of biscuits in biscuits and gravy? Soft and bready instead of a good crusty biscuit. It’s like eating gravy on a sponge. Sad.
