Let’s start putting police officers at traffic-signal intersections to catch the red-light runners. More money for the city, yes, and perhaps safer streets.
If the government can convince everyone to carry a gun, then when police shoot one of these people, they can simply say, “They reached for what I thought was a gun. How am I to know?”
We need a place like in the “Escape From New York” movie. Send all persons there with no escape and just let them do whatever they want to do with no boundaries. Let them take care of things and live the way they see fit with no consequences.
Many people have questioned the results of last fall’s state elections. Despite what Kris Kobach says, election results should be open public records.
The bullies in Topeka gave all of the lunch money to starving businesses. Now they are fat (in the bank account) and the schoolkids of Kansas are the ones starving. It’s all right – we don’t want young people who can think for themselves, or can get jobs that pay more than minimum wage.
If public schools are forced to cut extracurricular activities to pay for basic education, it will not send the right message to students.

Too bad it’s taken six years of President “Let’s Transform America” to make some realize that George Bush, while he certainly had his faults, really was a class act.
The fawning praise the Kochs get for their philanthropy would end if some perspective were applied. Given the vast amount of their wealth, what they donate is equivalent to the average worker dropping a quarter in the collection plate at church.
So are you saying I don’t need to renew my license to carry a concealed weapon? I don’t want to pay the state (fees) unless I have to.
I hope that the bottle-smashing punks will be blessed with a flat tire for every bottle they smash on roads and sidewalks.
It is sad to listen to college and professional athletes during interviews. You know, they are supposed to be, you know, educated but, you know, you sure can’t tell it, you know. Like, you know, get an education, you know. Learn how to speak intelligently.
With all of the technology used by the local TV stations in their newscasts, it would seem that they would have learned to use a spell-checker. Nothing creates a lack of credibility more than misspelled graphics.
