Some people say we need to spend more money on schools, but there actually isn’t a link between spending and student achievement. If money could solve the problem, it would already be solved.
Rep. Claeys, R-Salina, please take your donation to Lil’ Kim (Jong Un) on your next political jaunt to North Korea. No checks, please. Lil’ Kim takes cash or uranium.
Poor Pat Roberts. Actually, poor us Kansans. Pat’s whole Affordable Care Act position is like listening to a talking parrot that only knows three words. Every time the ACA is mentioned, Pat squawks, “Thelma and Louise, Thelma and Louise.”
Forget about the wall. We’re going to need all our resources to help rebuild Texas and Florida. We’re also going to need the 800,000 dreamers and all the long-term resources they provide.
The whining and blatant “me first” attitude of many of the outspoken dreamers rapidly continues to dissipate any sympathy that reasonable and empathetic people have for them.
The trouble with HOA communities is they are not consistent in enforcing the rules. We lived next to people who let their wall collapse, their front and back looked like the mange, and plants that needed to go bye-bye.
Aren’t HOAs something? We have a family that has a RV parked in their circular driveway for three months. They won’t move it because they are mad at the HOA. How about having respect for your neighborhood.
These heart-string tugging DACA stories are endless, and the media will promote them. Don’t tell me that in 24 years you didn’t have the opportunity to pursue legal immigration status. You just didn’t think you would ever have to.
